Recent Painting

This is a portrait of a friends grandchild. The painting has left me with a feeling of unfinished and uncomfortable that gnaws at me but for some unexplained reason I choose to keep it this way.

Oh yes, I won an award, 3rd place for figurative painting at the Kruglak Gallery in Oceanside Ca.

A New Painting in the Series

The series continues. Here is another painting from a photograph I took at the annual Easter Party . This painting is 14" x 18" in oil on canvas board. I've been working on my brushstrokes and increasing the thickness of paint application.
