Fox painting progress. While working on this I was drawn to a mountain lion. Now my time is split between this fox and other foxes and a mountain lion. Oh yes and a grizzly and soon to be added lynx and pack of wolves. I'm busy. Here's the fox progress.
Paintings by Marla Epstein. Wildlife, portraits, pets, landscapes, murals, painted tiles, gold leaf.

Another Fox painting on the easel
Here's the beginning of a new fox painting. Working from really dark to light.
I'm curious to see if I know my limits....We'll see.

Grizzly Bear Painting
" The Path of Persistence" Oil on Canvas 24" x 30"
This is Bruno. Bruno is forging for goodies...playing in the stream on the way.
I used a pallet knife mostly wanting to get the movement of his thick coat. This time my pallet of color was a bit more subdued not as contrasty as usual. This painting has become a fun learning experience. Something I highly recommend. He's almost done..perhaps some more work on the background..
