I finished the Coyote

 This is a 24" x 30" oil on linen.   In preparation for autumn....leaving the summer heat behind.....

Coyote...tentatively balanced on a rock

 Here's the painting I'm currently working on. It's a 24" x 30" oil on linen.

This coyote has a possible dinner in sight but he's awkwardly teetering on a rock. Holding still with strong interest in what might be a bite to eat.

Working this one from mid tones out.  Practicing patience and some control.  Day 4.
