The Buck of Cambria

 This is a 24" x 20" oil on linen.  Maybe there is a little more work to be done before I can say this is complete. 

 On a trip to Cambria, a beautiful beach community in central California I observed and photographed this Deer family.

Bryer Horses have No Souls

 Well this a large 48 x 44 oil on linen.   I'm tweaking reality.....I'll leave this one to your imagination.

 I'm working slowly.....no rush.....no need for a quick finish.  Here's where I am so far.

 My next expedition has begun.   This is a 30" x 40 oil on canvas.   Wanted to work a bit larger. I've been working smaller because of size restriction in show entries.  I do enjoy working large.

This is a 24 x 30 oil on linen of an  Andalusian .....

"Andalusian or Pure Spanish Horse (Pura Raza Espanola) is one of Europe’s oldest horse breeds. The Andalusian horse has lived in the Iberian Peninsula for thousands of years and is the district’s horse. It's genetic character has changed very little. The Andalusian is one of Europe’s iconic horse breeds that influences almost all horse breeds of the World. The powerfully built, muscular, grey color, golden traditions, and purity of the breed makes Andalusian  one of the most famous horse breeds".

Time goes by a Lynx

 Here's a Lynx I was working on , put aside and now finished.

It's a 16 x 20 oil on linen.   There's something about the chroma of this piece that speaks to me...here it is

A Mountain Lion

 "Stepping into the Light" is the tittle of this piece.  It's an oil on linen 30" x 24''.

Once again the inspiration is Conrad...the mountain lion who resides at Lion Tigers and Bears.
