So here's the finished Painting

A new Inspiration in my Life

Okay this rabbit showed up in our backyard about 2 months ago and has decided to stay.
He's real sweet, great personality and all and a whole lot of fun anatomically.
So here's my first attempt at expressing his personality. "I'm Late" is a 16 x 20 oil on canvas.
I still have some more work to do but here it is.

Mom's Hot Apple Pie

Something new and different.
I truly love reflection and light and dark. This is from a photo I took in Julian.
We were on our way for some apple pie and this couple was directly in front of us.

Here's the finished painting of the Tiger and Dragon fly.

I wanted to convey the heat of the Summer. On this particular day a friend and myself ventured off to the San Diego Safari Park.  It was a hot day. This Tiger was situated in the shade of a tree.

I decided to add the dragonfly as an object of distraction for the Tiger from the heat.

Felines with Butterflies and Dragon Flies

I have been working.
Lately I've been combining creatures. Lions and cats with Monarchs. Tigers with Dragon flies.
I'm really concentrating on light and dark.....




There is still a little more work to be done on the dragon fly and Tiger, but I thought I would put it out there.

Here's the completed painting of Gingy;s Dream.
I went to the Sorolla Exhibit with a friend yesterday and I was so inspired.

A touch of red......

Monarchs and Kitty's

Milk weed has been planted and Monarchs are abundant. Our yard has become a forest full of fluttering orange and black wings.
They are such beautiful and complex creatures.

 I'm combining those beautiful creatures with other beautiful creatures, together, in my paintings and having a good time.
