Mountain lion continues and fox enters

I'm working on these two simultaneously.  A little fox a lot of mountain lion.
Working on getting the anatomy right and all the rest to follow suite.  Color ,value, narrative, harmony, composition, texture.......

More work on Conga

And in the midst of all these outside events....inside I am trying to remain somewhat focused.
Covid 19 riots, protests...too much agitation not enough LOVE. Media is having a field day.

Conga the leopard

This is an 18" x 24" oil on linen.   Conga the leopard is a resident of Lions Tigers and Bears in Alpine, CA. I photographed her on two different occasions. She is very photogenic...'.
Day four....

More work on the Lynx

I've pushed this one .  I believe I'm in the midst of change....So I need to be patient with myself..as I try to get to a place of  an ah ha moment.  Uncomfortable...so I hope not to stay here too long.
